Job summary

Target is hiring a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and assets in a fast-paced retail environment. You will use intelligence-led tactics, respond to crises, de-escalate incidents, and document cases using our systems. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety and excellent guest service.

A flexible schedule is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided to help you learn the security tools and store procedures while maintaining a welcoming store

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly and assisting with needs.
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards storewide.
• Respond to and document security incidents promptly using case management systems.
• Use Target's video surveillance system to monitor and report activities.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times.
