Job summary

Target is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members, and assets in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet guests, deter theft, respond to incidents, and document cases using our system. The role requires de-escalation, teamwork, and flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Training is provided to develop skills in loss prevention, safety procedures, and using Target's surveillance system while

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
