Job summary

Target in Midland, Texas is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members and the store while delivering friendly service. You will use intelligence-led tactics, respond to incidents and help maintain a safe shopping environment.

Training is provided; you must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. You will operate surveillance tools and document cases in our management system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
