The Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, VA, seeks a Security Program Manager to lead enterprise threat mitigation and physical security programs. This supervisory role directs security teams and contractors, shapes risk frameworks, and advises executive leadership on critical assets protection.

This position is with the AD Director of Staff Operations located in Falls Church, Virginia. Leave accrual negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Recruitment or Relocation incentive may be authorized. SUPERVISORY POSITION: 20% of your daily duties are supervising security and support personnel and contractors to include recruitment, selection, performance management, discipline, career development, and workforce planning.

One year of specialized experience which includes formulating comprehensive threat mitigation programs to ensure continuous enterprise operations; AND managing organization-wide physical security protocols to safeguard critical institutional assets; AND directing multidisciplinary security teams to execute strategic performance objectives; AND advising executive leadership to recommend global risk frameworks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
