Job summary

General Datatech, LP is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to lead customer-facing security architecture and pre-sales across the Central region. You will translate business needs into practical architectures, roadmaps, BOMs, and implementation plans while partnering with account teams, engineers, and practice leads.

You will design secure networking, data center, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures, applying expertise in firewalls, IPS, SIEM, IAM, and risk management to deliver adaptable

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise network security and infrastructure solutions.
• Customer-facing discovery, solution design, presentations, and solution selling.
• Knowledge of Cisco security and secure networking for data center and AI requirements.
• Experience with firewalls, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud and hybrid security, SASE, and policy development.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, assessments, and security roadmap discussions with customers.
• Design secure network, data center, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure architectures aligned to customer outcomes.
• Apply expertise in firewall/perimeter security, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and risk management.
• Develop Cisco-focused security recommendations, designs, BOMs, and responses to RFPs.
• Support Cisco security sales motions, including SASE and AI/data center security.
• Partner with Cisco sellers to build pipeline and drive technical wins.
• Translate technical recommendations into business value and operational outcomes.
• Contribute to scope, SOWs, presentations, and handoffs to delivery teams.
