GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time role requires supervising the security team, training officers, and coordinating with management to meet client security standards.

You must have a state security license, 32-hour BSIS trainings, be eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a HS diploma or GED. Strong customer service and basic phone/computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• State security license and 32-hr BSIS trainings; additional trainings may be obtained during hiring.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of corporate security supervisor experience (preferably two).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Active driver’s license required.
• Please include your most up-to-date security supervisor experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the security team on your shift.
• Train new officers.
• Help manage schedules to ensure no dark posts during your shift.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and management to meet client security requirements.
• Perform customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.
