Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Los Angeles is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to monitor daily operations and lead a team of officers across assigned accounts. You will patrol, supervise shifts, and ensure compliance with GardaWorld standards.

On-site role offering full-time hours, competitive hourly wage, and a benefits package including health and retirement plans. Prior supervisory security experience and valid BSIS credentials are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of security supervisor experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32-hour BSIS trainings required; additional training possible during hiring.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Military, security or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all officers are relieved for breaks on time.
• Patrol designated areas to spot suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Oversee inspections, training, and scheduling across assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with MSS, CSMs, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to manage staffing schedules.
• Provide hands-on leadership and recruit new supervisors and promote SROs for advancement.
• Occasionally fill account posts and deliver patrol services on designated accounts.
• Foster servant leadership and promote GardaWorld's core values.
• Achieve 100% shift coverage and regular staffing inspections.
• Become proficient in GardaWorld software for onboarding, scheduling, and finance.
• Ensure compliance with GardaWorld standards.
