Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time role focuses on customer service, supervising security staff, and ensuring client security requirements are met on a busy corporate site.

You will train officers, manage shift schedules, handle incident reporting, and coordinate with emergency teams as needed. A state license, HS diploma or GED, and 1 year of supervisor experience are required; drivers license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Security Supervisor experience in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Schedule: Full-time Shifts Available (Shift details below)
  • Saturday-Sunday / 2:00pm-10:30pm. & Monday-Wednesday / 10:00pm-6:30am
  • Thursday-Sunday / 10:00pm-6:30am

Responsibilities of a Security Shift Supervisor

• Supervise the security team on your given shift
• Train new officers
• Help manage schedules to make sure you have zero dark posts during your shift
• Act as a liaison between staff and management, ensuring client security requirements are met
• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Security Shift Supervisor

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least one year of Security Supervisor Experience in a corporate setting.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
