Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security, casino security, or law enforcement experience.
• At least 6 months with Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel Security as Assistant Security Shift Supervisor or 1 year of supervisory security experience.
• EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must possess a valid driver's license; if out-of-state, Minnesota license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise floor security guards during each shift.
• Maintain and complete daily shift and incident reports with all pertinent details.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement as required.
• Organize and monitor emergency services for accidents, fires, or threats.
• Perform regular floor patrols of the casino complex.
• Ensure deposits are secured and supervise breaks of guards to maintain operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMaintain a safe and secure environment by displaying exceptional leadership and supervisory skills.Protect the property and assets of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.Assist in maintaining daily shift reports and incident reports with all pertinent information, detailing the events and activities of the prescribed shift.Supervise and monitor the duties of all floor security guards during each shift.Display an excellent degree of customer relations and provide exceptional customer service.Provide aid and attend to ill or injured customers and employees by providing adequate medical attention.Assist and cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.Assist in the coordination and organization of all emergency services for traffic accidents, fires, bomb threats, inclement weather, etc.Perform random foot patrols around the entire Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel complex on a regular basis.Verify all daily bank deposits and visually observes that all deposit bags are properly secured.Organize all floor security guard breaks and assist as necessary to maintain smooth operations.Maintain a good communication link with surveillance operators.Maintain a neat and professional appearance.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2 years of experience in security, casino security or law enforcement required.Minimum of 6 months of experience with Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel Security Department as an Assistant Security Shift Supervisor or one year of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement required.EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire required.Must possess a valid drivers license.
