Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos in Buffalo, NY seeks a Security Shift Manager to oversee daily security operations on the assigned shift, ensuring courteous service and casino asset protection.

You will act as Incident Commander during emergencies, supervise Security Ambassadors and Officers, mentor team members, ensure proper reports and payroll accuracy, and uphold policy adherence, confidentiality, and safety standards across the property.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or above preferred in related fields.
• Must have two years of leadership experience in Security, Hospitality, Law Enforcement or Military.
• Proficient with approved security software for payroll and access control duties.
• Understanding of legal ramifications and strong guest service experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents within Seneca Gaming Corp guidelines and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies when senior staff are off-site.
• Lead, mentor and supervise Security Ambassadors, Officers and Supervisors.
• Ensure accurate reporting, payroll records and attendance tracking for the shift.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to Internal Controls and company policies.
