Convergint seeks a full-time Security Service Technician to join our culture of growth and excellence in service. You will respond to routine and after-hours calls, diagnose issues, repair systems, and ensure precise service reporting for invoicing and cost tracking.

Develop technical skills in building automation, fire/life safety, and electronic security while collaborating with teammates. Competitive hourly compensation with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Developing technical skills and experience related to building automation, fire alarm & life safety, and/or electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency/after-hours service calls; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts, and debug systems.
• Identify and resolve problems for various service calls; analyze repair requirements and provide solutions; perform necessary repairs and replacements.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Convergint to support invoicing and cost tracking.
• May provide custom system integrations, upgrade planning and execution, audits, and/or database management as needed.
• Install, configure, and support network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
