Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Fire Inspector to support inspection, testing, and compliance activities for fire alarm and security systems. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of codes and industry best practices.

You will perform scheduled inspections, document findings, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely corrective actions while maintaining comprehensive inspection records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing fire alarm inspections.
• Valid Texas Alarm License is required.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, testing procedures, and code compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily inspection schedules.

• Conduct approximately 2 inspections per day.
• Identify deficiencies and provide detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and national fire codes.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding inspection findings and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and inspection documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing fire alarm inspections.
• Valid Texas Alarm License (required).
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, testing procedures, and code compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fire Alarm License (FAL) highly preferred.

• Prior experience working with security systems or on security-related projects is a major plus.
