Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Service Technician in Trenton, NJ. You will troubleshoot, program, and repair security systems including analog, IP, and networked solutions while interacting with customers and the service team.

You will produce field reports, assist with project logistics, and mentor other technicians. A high school diploma and 2–5 years in a security tech role are required; OSHA 10 helps. Competitive hourly compensation and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–5 years in a security systems technician role.
• Knowledge of access control, IP video, and data systems.
• Ability to read security system drawings and schematics.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair analog, IP, addressable, and networked security systems.
• Program and maintain intrusion, video, asset protection, and environmental systems.
• Produce repair reports and field surveys for customers and billing.
• Train and mentor other service technicians on equipment and procedures.
• Ensure safety, quality, and performance on onsite projects.
