Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a Mobile Sergeant to assist the Captain with inspections, ensure posts are staffed and guards in proper uniform, and follow post orders to protect life and property.

The role includes training security staff, covering shifts, coordinating with clients and management, and maintaining reports and site documentation; full-time on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
• Ability to meet licensing or certification requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily officer activity and confirm all posts are properly staffed.
• Ensure officers are in proper uniform and following post orders and company policies.
• Assist with training new and current security staff across shifts.
• Respond to call-offs and adjust schedules to maintain coverage while limiting overtime.
• Step in to cover open posts when needed until relief arrives.
• Maintain uniform inventory and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare clear reports documenting daily activity, incidents, and irregularities.
• Address on-site concerns and communicate with clients and management as needed.
• Monitor for policy violations and take appropriate action, including documentation.
• Support administrative tasks such as maintaining records and site documentation.
• Handle delivery or pickup of company materials when required.
• Keep assigned work areas clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

Dunbar Security’s Mobile Sergeant is responsible for assisting the Captain with conducting random post inspections and ensuring guards are in proper uniform, all posts are manned and guarded in accordance with existing post orders to assure security of life and property. Also responsible for training security guards and holding post as needed.
