Dunbar Security Solutions in Dallas, TX is seeking a reliable Security Guard to patrol a client site, monitor surveillance, deter theft, and respond to emergencies. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and a daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM).

Overnight shifts may be required for coverage. Ideal candidates are dependable, observant, and capable of professional interactions with tenants, customers, and law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Texas Level II Non-Commissioned License required.
• Reliable, observant candidate with ability to monitor premises.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas of the property on foot.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and scan checkpoint tags.
• Deterrence of unauthorized activity to keep tenants safe.
• Report suspicious behavior and safety hazards promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Lock/unlock premises as required.
• Interact professionally with tenants, customers, and law enforcement.

About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment at one of our clients locations (vacant building). The primary responsibilities are to monitor the property for thieves and trespassers. The ideal candidate will be dependable, observant, and comfortable working overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas of the shopping center on foot
• Monitor surveillance equipment and regularly scan checkpoint tags throughout the property
• Deter unauthorized activity and ensure a secure environment for tenants and patrons
• Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and incidents promptly and accurately
• Respond to emergencies and follow established safety protocols
• Lock and unlock premises as required
• Interact professionally with tenants, customers, and law enforcement when necessary

Certification Requirements (All)

Texas Level II Non-Commissioned License
