Dunbar Security Solutions is hiring a Security Officer for a part-time, weekend role in Richmond, VA. The position requires working Friday and Saturday from 7am to 3pm, with a two-week training window between 8am and 11pm.

The pay rate is $19.29 per hour, and the role involves maintaining a secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include patrolling, enforcing policies, keeping detailed shift records, and reporting any safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents, employees, visitors, and the public.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, including incident reports and shift logs.
• Provide a visible security presence by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in creating a safe environment for residents and authorized visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
