Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Security Sales Specialist to grow the cyber security business with SLED customers in the dedicated region. You will lead day-to-day relationships with customer stakeholders, demonstrate product value, and collaborate with GCP and internal teams to drive security solutions.

You will build pipelines from lead generation to onboarding, partner with marketing, engineering, channels, and product to deliver compelling business cases and formalize transformation plans for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, in the Public Sector.
• Experience with state local and higher education software sales.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Construct and execute an effective territory development plan, promoting security products to new and existing customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.
• Develop and drive pipeline, managing cycles, from lead generation to customer onboarding.
• Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, act as a trusted advisor to the account.
• Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, GCP, Customer Success, Channels and Product, and Engineering teams to represent the customer and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
• Lead Google Cloud Security sales in covered territory, serve as stakeholder to regional Cloud leads, forecasting and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.
