Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle seeks a Manager, Safety & Security to lead the development and execution of security programs at our luxury property in Seattle. You will oversee policy development, risk assessments, staff training, and incident response to safeguard guests, colleagues, and assets.

Collaborating with law enforcement and leadership, you will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in safety and security, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Certifications such as CSP, CPP, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 or similar.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations and best practices.
• Excellent risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in security and surveillance technology.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• May be required to work outside regular business hours, including nights and weekends.
• May be required to work outdoors for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement local safety and security policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of facilities.
• Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain a cohesive and effective safety and security training program.
• Provide safety and security training for employees.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other external agencies.
• Communicate safety and security updates and program to executive leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of safety and security incidents, training, and inspections.
