Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. seeks a Security Supervisor to provide a proactive security presence across the assigned supply chain location in Bessemer, AL.

You will supervise Security Officers, schedule posts, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and work closely with the Asset & Protection team to enforce Lowe’s policies. You will conduct regular patrols, complete detailed incident reports, and de-escalate conflicts professionally.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 5–7 years experience in retail security, first-responder, or military-related field.
• 1–2 years in big-box retail security or military settings.
• 1–2 years experience with detailed incident reports.
• 1–2 years experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Valid Driver’s License and Security License.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security and safety presence across assigned supply chain location.
• Supervise SC Security Officer staffing, training, scheduling, performance, and equipment management (CCTV, alarms).
• Ensure security posts are properly staffed and secure.
• Support Asset & Protection & Safety Manager in daily functions.
• De-escalate incidents with associates, visitors, and contractors using professional techniques.
