Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Security Risk Analyst to help identify, quantify, and drive treatment of critical security risks as the company expands its frontier AI capabilities. You will work with leadership to translate risk questions into decisions, build quantitative models, and partner with Security Engineering to ensure risk-informed security investments.

Expect to leverage FAIR-based methods, Monte Carlo simulation, and modern automation to scale risk work, while communicating tradeoffs clearly

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk analysis end to end.
• Ability to decompose security risks quantitatively.
• Comfort presenting to C-suite and leadership teams.
• Experience applying FAIR-based methods and quantitative risk.
• Proficiency with Python or R for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative analysis of top security risk scenarios using FAIR, calibrated estimation, and simulation.
• Partner with Security Engineering to assess threat scenarios and control effectiveness.
• Frame risk decisions with clear recommendations and uncertainty where appropriate.
• Develop risk metrics and dashboards for leadership risk reviews.
• Scale risk analysis using AI/automation and build reusable methods and templates.
