Job summary

Legends Global in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Security Receptionist for the Public Safety team to greet visitors, answer calls, and monitor access to the facility. This role is based in the Caesars Superdome / Smoothie King Center complex and requires professionalism, discretion, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include handling the main phone system, guiding guests, coordinating with security, and maintaining a secure lobby environment.

POSITION: Security Receptionist
DEPARTMENT: Public Safety
REPORTS TO: Chief of Public Safety
FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Summary

Legends Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Security Receptionist for Legends
Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
This position is assigned to the Executive Reception area in Gate F. The primary responsibilities are
answering and directing calls from the main phone system, assisting visitors with queries and concerns,
providing information and directing them to the correct internal or external entities, and monitoring
lobby access to ensure only authorized people enter the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward telephone calls
• Answer routine telephone inquiries, event-specific or general inquiries
• Greet and welcome guests and direct them to specific locations
• Restock promotional items in the main lobby, as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Boardroom & Conference Room

• Maintain the Boardroom and Conference room and immediate area after each meeting,
  including coordinating with Housekeeping as needed.
• Ensure the refrigerator remains properly stocked working with Legends F&B for related items
• Maintain the organization and appearance of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Know how to turn on, operate, and control the monitors and other A/V equipment in the
  Boardroom and Conference Room
• Know how to access and display CCTV feeds on the monitors when needed.
• Be familiar with the Boardroom reservation schedule, including when the room is booked and
  by whom.
• Ensure the reception desk and surrounding area remain professional, organized, and
  presentable.

Security-Related Duties

• Monitor individuals entering and exiting the area through CCTV and other security systems.
• Be familiar with and properly manage the visitor log/visitor management system.
• Maintain awareness of panic alarm procedures and appropriate response protocols.
• Be familiar with all applicable security-related SOPs, including bomb threats, suspicious activity,
  emergencies, evacuations, and other security incidents.
• Immediately communicate any security concerns or unusual activity through the appropriate
  chain of command.
