Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup/check-out, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including small or less complex jobs. Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to security systems.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services various security systems and equipment.
• Works with customer to train on new systems and ensures satisfaction.
• Interprets manuals and wiring diagrams to assist installation.
• Coordinates with project manager and operations to align timelines.
• Performs start-up, certification testing, and customer handover.
