Job summary

Pavion in Greenville, SC is seeking an Installation Technician to install, program, and service security systems such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. You will serve as the main field contact with project managers and customers, perform wiring and headend setup, and ensure safe, compliant work practices.

You will document work performed, maintain records, and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines while upholding high quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience installing or servicing security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments; must possess or obtain necessary background clearances.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all assigned tasks.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Serve as the main point of contact for field communication with project managers and customers.
• Complete field wiring, terminations, and testing in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot headend equipment, ensuring seamless integration with field components.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.
