Job summary

Siemens in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, program, start-up, and commission state-of-the-art integrated security systems, including CCTV/IP cameras, alarm sensors, and access control.

You will mentor junior technicians and interact with customers to ensure safe, reliable operations, with opportunities to perform testing, documentation, and on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems.
• Understanding of network components and workstation/server OS management, IP addressing and subnetting, IP video network transmission, and basic switch/router/firewall principles.
• Willingness to work in varied environments around mechanical equipment and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance: run routine reports, support final inspection, and assist with customer training.
• Conduct project site coordination and communications, scheduling trade contractors for start-up services as needed.
