Insight Global is seeking a Security Project Specialist to support enterprise-level Fire, Security, and Building Automation deployments in Norfolk, VA. You will install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on complex systems while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience installing and programming electronic security and/or fire alarm & life safety systems for enterprise-level customers
• Certifications in Genetec, Lenel, Brivo, DMP, Avigilon, Verkada, and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Strong technical skills and experience related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems; may adapt procedures, processes, tools to meet the more complex requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Install and program electronic security and fire/life-safety systems.
• Start-up, checkout, and certification of projects.
• Provide customer training on projects.
• Interface with the customer for technical support.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
