Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Project Specialist to install, program, startup, certify and train customers on security, fire alarm and life-safety systems across varying project sizes. You will work with a dynamic team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of field service experience, strong technical and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of security, fire alarm or life-safety systems.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service non-routine security systems and equipment.
• Demonstrate equipment, commission new systems and train customers.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to meet timelines and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical support on-site.
