Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Security Project Specialist to support enterprise-level Fire, Security, and Building Automation deployments in Norfolk, VA. You will install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on complex systems while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience installing and programming electronic security and/or fire alarm & life safety systems for enterprise-level customers
• Certifications in Genetec, Lenel, Brivo, DMP, Avigilon, Verkada, and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Strong technical skills and experience related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems; may adapt procedures, processes, tools to meet the more complex requirements of the job.

Insight Global is seeking a Security Project Specialist to join one of our top security clients in Norfolk, VA. The work authorization is not specified and the salary range is$83,00-$104,000. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects including small to large projects that vary in complexity. Also delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. Acts as key interface for technical support with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction. May mentor less experienced staff.

Skills and Requirements
