Job summary

Chugach Electric Association is seeking a seasoned security leader to oversee the organization’s physical security across campuses, substations, and critical infrastructure. You will direct compliance with CIP and RRC requirements, develop training, and manage audits and investigations.

This role leads a large camera surveillance program, oversees access control, and collaborates with regulators and vendors to ensure resilient security operations across Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, security, logistics, or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in security or related roles with supervision.
• Substitution rules may apply for education/experience as noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical security for campuses, substations, power plants, and laydown yards; ensure standards are defined and followed.
• Develop risk assessments and remediation plans to comply with CIP and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security standards, policies, procedures, and provide training.
• Coordinate audits, investigations, and regulator inquiries; manage responses.
• Manage access control systems and coordinate with vendors and security contractors.
• Lead the 400+ camera surveillance program and oversee security technology implementations.
