Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager, Security in Redmond to lead site protection for personnel and assets. You will coordinate contracted guards, physical security, access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems, aligning security with SpaceX goals.

Key duties include developing the security strategy, briefing senior management, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and SpaceX policies while overseeing a team across functions and shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with extensive security experience.
• 10+ years in security; 5+ years in security management supervising staff.
• Experience with ITAR and U.S. export regulations.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the overall security strategy for the site.
• Advise senior management through high-level briefings.
• Establish protocols to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
• Implement security measures and emergency plans across facilities.
