As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property using a company vehicle as needed. You will be the first point of contact for those in need of assistance, responding promptly and professionally to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual behavior or incidents.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
