Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Concierge in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be stationed at the main entrance, monitoring access and assisting visitors and staff with professionalism and courtesy. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and provides a welcoming environment. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a sidearm while maintaining a calm and approachable demeanor. You will communicate clearly, respond to inquiries, and support a culture of integrity and teamwork, reflecting our commitment to putting people first in all interactions at this location.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, following site-specific procedures for a financial institution location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required by site policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with management and emergency services when appropriate, providing accurate information about incidents or concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Texas Armed Security Professional License is required.
• An armed sidearm qualification is required.
• An armed designation is required for this position.
• A valid armed guard card or license is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
