Transcend Security is seeking unarmed Security Professionals for shifts in Tempe and Phoenix. Positions are full-time with varied schedules (Mon-Fri, Fri-Tue, Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun) and starting wages ranging from $19.00 to $21.65 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, and reporting, with opportunities for advanced training. Requirements include a valid Arizona Security Guard License, 18+ years old, able to pass background and drug screening, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Security Guard License required.
• At least 1 year of security guard experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Pass drug screening in zero tolerance environment.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must have right to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Transcend Security is hiring THREE Unarmed Security Professionals for accounts in Tempe and Phoenix!

Full-Time Openings:

• Monday-Friday 11am-7pm (40 hours weekly starting at $19.00) (Phoenix)
• Friday-Tuesday 10pm-6am (40 hours weekly starting at $21.65) (Tempe)
• Thursday/Friday 2p-10p, Sat-Sun 6p-6a (40 hours weekly starting at $20.00) (Tempe)

We are looking for professional security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• An extremely high-level of customer service skills are needed.
• Routine heavy lifting may be required.
• Routine walking is required.
• Climbing Staircases multiple times throughout shift may be required.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of residents, visitors, and other persons, in order to maintain security of the entirety of the building.
• Knowledgeable about residential and/or commercial rules, and effectively answer inquiries specific to the property.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Effectively understand and utilize technology products such as a smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.
• Ability to prepare reports in a clear and concise manner.
• Spelling and grammar skills are essential.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

Current Arizona Security Guard License

At least 1 year of experience as security guard preferred, but not required.

Must be at least age 18.

Must be able to pass an in-depth criminal background check.

Must be able to pass a drug screening. (This is a zero tolerance work environment).

Must have a reliable means of transportation.

Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Must have the ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.

Ability to pass an English composition assessment upon request (This ensures the ability to utilize proper grammar & spelling for report writing).

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.)
