Job summary

Transcend Security Solutions, LLC is hiring THREE Unarmed Security Professionals for accounts in Tempe and Phoenix. These full-time openings feature 40-hour weeks with operating hours varying by shift, starting pay from $19.00 per hour.

Candidates must hold a current Arizona Security Guard License and be able to pass a background check. You will maintain a high-visibility security presence, monitor access, report incidents, and deliver professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Security Guard License
• At least 1 year of experience as security guard preferred, but not required
• Must be at least age 18
• Must be able to pass an in-depth criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening (zero tolerance)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have legal right to work in the United States
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at entrances and vehicle gates
• Provide high level customer service
• Occasionally perform heavy lifting and long walking
• Climb staircases multiple times during shift
• Prepare clear, concise reports

• Monday-Friday 11am-7pm (40 hours weekly starting at $19.00) (Phoenix)
• Friday-Tuesday 10pm-6am (40 hours weekly starting at $21.65) (Tempe)
• Thursday/Friday 2p-10p, Sat-Sun 6p-6a (40 hours weekly starting at $20.00) (Tempe)

We are looking for professional security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• An extremely high-level of customer service skills are needed.
• Routine heavy lifting may be required.
• Routine walking is required.
• Climbing Staircases multiple times throughout shift may be required.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of residents, visitors, and other persons, in order to maintain security of the entirety of the building.
• Knowledgeable about residential and/or commercial rules, and effectively answer inquiries specific to the property.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Effectively understand and utilize technology products such as a smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.
• Ability to prepare reports in a clear and concise manner.
• Spelling and grammar skills are essential.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.)
