Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time overnight shift in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, controlling access, patrolling, and enforcing site directives for personnel and visitors.

The position requires customer service excellence, vigilance, and the ability to work independently. Arizona Guard Card is required, and the wage range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and stay vigilant during shift.
• AZ Guard Card required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce regulations for client sites.
• Manage access control and conduct patrols across locations.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide information to employees and guests and assist with inquiries.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours.
• Perform tasks similar in scope as required for the site.

Wage Range: $18.00-$20.00HR

Overnight Shift

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
