Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Background check performed per applicable laws; may include criminal history.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/phone equipment.
• Able to interact cordially with the public.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual or security concerns.
• Respond to alarms and summon authorities when needed.
• Deter rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Verify authorized access and property removal per client rules.
• Document incidents with reports and logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by post orders.
