Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Philadelphia, PA, with a part-time schedule from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Wednesday. The role offers a $17.00 per hour wage, paid orientation, and benefits for full-time employees.

You must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of security experience; outdoor work is required. The Flex Officer will patrol various sites, use the shift-pickup platform to claim shifts, and gain diverse site experience across

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age and able to work outdoors.
• No prior security experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary according to site orders.
