Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years verifiable experience may substitute.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Must be 21+ (18+ in some states) and able to work outdoors.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and report them.
• Sound alarms or notify authorities in case of fire or danger.
• Control entry to property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
