Workday's Pleasanton, CA headquarters is seeking a Software Engineer in the Security Platform group. You will build and scale next-generation authorization frameworks, access control systems, and distributed data security models, owning features end-to-end and writing high-quality path code.

You’ll participate in on-call rotations and contribute to system design for a robust, secure global security infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development, designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
• 4+ years experience in Java, Go, or Scala.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid ability in design patterns and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale next-generation authorization frameworks, access control systems, and distributed data security models.
• Own complex features end-to-end and write high-quality critical-path code.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to system design for robust security infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams on architecture and threat modeling.
