Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist Product Manager for Test Security Platforms. The role leads five security domains and the shared platform that delivers identity, behavior, location, platform and environment capabilities across products and services.

Responsibilities include building a threat‑intelligence driven roadmap, partnering with engineering and security ops, and ensuring measurable, defensible controls that scale across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, including 3+ years owning security, identity, fraud, risk or trust‑and‑safety products.
• Demonstrated ownership of a platform or shared‑services product consumed by multiple internal teams or channels — not only end‑user features.
• Experience with detection or classification products built on AI/ML, and fluency in the precision/recall trade‑off and its human consequences.
• Track record in a regulated, high‑stakes environment where being wrong has real consequences for an individual.

Responsibilities

• Domain and platform product ownership with an outcome‑based roadmap across five domains.
• Design security as a shared platform with defined capabilities and integration patterns.
• Maintain a live capability gap analysis and communicate risks clearly.
