Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in the United States, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Darlington, MD. The role involves protecting clients across utilities sectors, patrolling sites, managing access control, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and maintaining accurate incident records while adhering to site policies.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain incident documentation.
• Help deter unauthorized activity by observing and reporting issues to site contacts and supervision.
