Job summary

Allied Universal® North East, MD is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer focused on customer service and patrol duties. You will monitor sites, assist with access control, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding safety and security standards.

This role offers field-based work with a shift schedule and opportunities for training, growth, and access to Smart Tools and perks within our security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter; client sites vary.
