Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Darlington, MD to safeguard clients across industries. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at a utilities location, with focus on access control and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security experience.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities accurately and promptly.
