Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Driver for the 1st shift in Amana, IA. You will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor alarms, and respond to security-related concerns at a manufacturing/industrial location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, customer service experience, and the ability to perform regular patrols. The position offers full-time hours with a daytime schedule and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain access-control logs.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
