Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Driver for the first shift at our Waterloo, IA location. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service within a manufacturing and industrial site.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug test per policy.
• Criminal history considered per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters.
• Monitor access, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions to personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.
