Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Driver Patrol for Amana, IA. This full-time role involves patrolling facilities, controlling access points, verifying credentials, and responding to alarms to ensure a safe environment.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable working with computer devices. Prior customer service or loss prevention experience is preferred, and a background check plus drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
• Screen and direct incoming visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, respond to alarm activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
