Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking part-time Security Officers in Amana, IA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials and monitor activity, while providing excellent customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

This driver patrol role offers a flexible schedule with part-time hours and opportunities to use exclusive company tools and platforms. The position requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to background and drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

Proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Valid driver's license required per policy.
CPR certification preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check as required by law.
Drug screen as permitted by law.
State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and visitor credentials.
Maintain visitor badges and temporary credentials; report access concerns to site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
