Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company in Hershey, PA seeks a Part-Time Security Patrol to ensure safety across Hersheypark Entertainment Complex and its venues. You will perform high-visibility patrols, respond to alarms, and protect guests and team members.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and 3+ years in safety/security; post-employment RAMP certification required. The role offers perks like free admission, parking, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Criminal justice or security-related training/experience preferred.
• Must be friendly, upbeat, and able to interact with guests.
• Must communicate clearly and follow policies.
• Must remain alert and handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team members.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments and support teams.
• Provide security for transporting money and financial documents.
• Manage deployment of security personnel and equipment to provide effective and efficient operations during incidents.
• Assess, investigate, resolve, and contain situations per company policy and procedures, as well as training.
• Provide high-visibility patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Control vehicle/pedestrian traffic when necessary.
• Monitor guest behavior for compliance with event and venue policies.
• Monitor crowd behavior and mitigate risk.
• Communicate regularly with Security Management regarding training and operational issues including team member or guest concerns, losses, and unusual situations.
• Create timely, thorough, and accurate incident reports through the incident documentation process.
• Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to, use of PPE, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations.
