Job summary

Hersheypark Camping Resort, a campground near Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, is seeking a Part-Time Security Patrol team member to ensure safety for guests and team members across HE&R venues. The role involves high-visibility patrols, enforcing venue policies, and supporting incident response with a proactive approach.

Ideal candidates will be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, have prior safety/security experience, and be able to obtain a RAMP certification post-employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Safety & Security.
• Post-employment: Must obtain RAMP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team members.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments.
• Provide security for transporting money and financial documents.
• Manage deployment of security personnel and equipment during incidents.
• Assess, investigate, resolve, and contain situations per policy and training.
• Provide high-visibility patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Control vehicle/pedestrian traffic when necessary.
• Monitor guest behavior for event and venue policies.
• Communicate with Security Management on training and operational issues.
