Job summary

Allied Universal in Shippingport, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Driver to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver outstanding customer service while conducting routine patrols.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work daytime shifts with multiple evenings.

Qualifications

• Background check will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of industrial buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and access-related records while communicating with leadership and client representatives.
