Allied Universal in Shippingport, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Driver to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver outstanding customer service while conducting routine patrols.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work daytime shifts with multiple evenings.

• Conduct regular patrols of industrial buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and access-related records while communicating with leadership and client representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Driver in Shippingport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site leadership. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned industrial buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-related records while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
